  Carbon (C): The content is usually controlled within a certain range, generally not exceeding 0.28%. An appropriate amount of carbon helps to ensure the strength of the steel.

  Manganese (Mn): The content does not exceed 1.20%. Manganese can improve the strength and toughness of steel and eliminate the harmful effects of sulfur to a certain extent.

  API 5L Grade B seamless steel pipe is mainly made of low carbon steel, and the carbon content is usually controlled below 0.25%.
