ASTM A213 316/316L is a grade belonging to heat exchanger or high-pressure tubes that are designed with 316L austenitic stainless steel. The ASTM A213 TP316L Tube is manufactured with a superior chemical composition of nickel, chromium, and molybdenum.
ASTM A312 TP 316/316L pipe is grade 316 stainless steel pipe with general properties for use in a wide range of application industries. The pipe has excellent corrosion resistance, high strength at high temperatures and excellent resistance to pitting corrosion. Due to the nature of 316 pipes, compared with 316 grades, 316L has a lower carbon content.
